DJ and sax for weddings
I DJ your wedding party and play the sax over the set. One artist, one sound system and no changeover in the middle of the night.
Why one artist for both
A wedding with a DJ and a saxophonist usually means two artists, two sound systems and a pause while one packs up and the other sets up. With me there is no pause. The sax comes in and out of the set, and the move from the drinks reception to the party happens without the music stopping.
On the dance floor you can hear the difference. A song everyone knows sounds different when the sax plays the melody live. When the energy drops, a sax solo lifts it. When it is high, I let the set carry itself.
I DJ pop, international and Latin music, house and electronic, and classics for every age. I trained as a DJ with professionals in Córdoba, Argentina, and in Benalmádena, and I have been on stage for 24 years. The Spanish version of this page is DJ y saxofonista para bodas.
How a set with live sax sounds
-
A song everyone knows
I play the track and add the melody on the sax. Guests recognise it at once and sing along.
-
House with sax
A house and electronic set with the sax as the lead voice. This is the part of the night that feels most like a party.
-
A breather
When the floor needs a rest, I slow the tempo and play a ballad on the sax without stopping the music.
-
The last song
The last tune of the night, played live, so people leave singing.
One sound system in one space
One artist, one system and no pause to change over.
Fewer cables, less setup time and one person to talk to for the whole day.
The booth, live
A real clip of the DJ booth with the sax next to the decks.
What people ask before booking
Can you really DJ and play the sax at the same time?
Yes. I mix the set and play over it, or I let a song run and play during it.
How much does a DJ with live sax cost?
It depends on the hours and the moments you want. Tell me the date and the venue and I'll send you a price.
Can you start at the ceremony and carry on to the party?
Yes, and it is the easiest option: the same artist from the ceremony to the last dance.
What music do you play?
Pop, international and Latin music, house and electronic, and classics for every age. We go through it before your date.
Do I need to hire a sound system separately?
No. I bring speakers, a mixing desk and microphones.
